Integration of all Parts
 Factories producing glass, windows, and doors are located on the same site as
CBS Homes composite factory and assembly plant. Homeowners or builders can
select from a range of windows and doors.
Window choices include impact resistant glass (eliminating the need for
hurricane shutters), double or triple glass with insulation values up to R-4.8,
and insulating window frames (eliminating the energy loss conducted by aluminum
frames).
Window frame parts are made from structural composites that are much stronger
than extruded plastic frames and provide a superior ability to seal out water
and moisture than wood or aluminum frames. Water or moisture cause mold
and mildew to grow inside the home. Engineered profiles and sealing
techniques water damage and mold.

Capabilities
With all of the factories at the same location, the engineers have the
ability to interact, design, produce, and integrate all of the commonly uses
parts of the exterior support walls in ways that were not possible when windows,
doors, insulation, electrical conduits, and plumbing all came from independent
factories. Because there are no remote warehouses or damage from shipping,
the costs of each component can be lowered when combined into the panel.
